The week in review: February 17 through February 21, 2013

Buoyed by yesterday’s progress, and cognizant of the fact that there are just 26 hexagons between me and being able to work on the border of this project, the first thing I did today, after I got my son off to school was to take an inventory of what I had already done so that I would know what I needed to do.

It turned out I had two completed turtles, two frogs (one completed, one not), one dog, one lion:

A menagerie of hexagons to be

and two bear ears:

Two ears for a bear-to-be

I started by working on the four remaining animals needed including two pigs:

Two future pigs

one bear (to go with the two bear ears):

One bear-to-be
One bear-to-be

and one bird:

Having gotten at least a start on all of the animal hexagons I would need, I turned my attention to the colorful cluster hexagons, and completed 9 of the sixteen needed to complete the project:

Nine hexagons, all in a row
Nine hexagons, all in a row

While I don’t know that I will get this done by Monday, I am confident I will have it done before March 1 rolls around.

Now for the week in review!

  1. I would love to have the pattern for your circle sweater. I could not find it on your site.
    Many thanks from Alabama
