Love the afghan, the writing and the last sentence. “One square at a time” really works, no matter what we’re talking about.

a P.S. finished my stained glass square!!! thinking about “just on square” the whole way… luv kris’s and Lyns insightful thoughts. Maddy; persistence is NOT my middle name.thank you for thinking so..LOL So glad to have “met” all of you through Leslie.. while I think each and every one of us like to work from a place of giving or doing our best: what I think we each need to remember — is that each and every day ‘our best’ is going to be different than it was the day before!!
from my experience with crochet I have also learned that some days one square does not work up as smoothly or as easily as the previous one just made.…

I just received my copy of Maggy Ramsay’s book set the task of some version your vanilla afghan to be completed before the summer. I hope to tap into your’s and Mary’s persistence and also the pleasure and power of “just one square.” Now there’s a motto for more than just crochet!

love that last line!!! I am working on a rather ummm lovley(many steps) 6 inch stained glass square.Got uptight when i did not get it done all at once. But because it is several small squares at first,I got a lot done.. Like comments about Cloony, my Casey lets me know when it is time to put the hook down with her “sick cow eyes“look. Getting excited about vanilla Go go go have a happy hooking day (productive??)
